  • At what age can my child start playing lacrosse?
    • Sartell-Sauk Rapids Lacrosse Association begins at the 6U level.
    • Sartell-St. Stephen offers a 4-week summer recreation option for students entering 1-5th grade.
  • Can my child play with a different age group?

  • What does my child need for practice?
    • Players should plan to wear full gear for all practices unless indicated by the coaches. Mouthguards are strictly enforced in games so players should practice with them as well.

  • What are Dibs and what if I don't complete them?
    • Dibs are volunteer hours. Each family is responsible for 5 hours. A buyout of $20/hour is available if a family cannot meet the 5-hour commitment.
    • Dibs can be fulfilled in various ways. The most common way is to keep time or score during a game. All Dib opportunities are posted under the Dibs tab.
      • SSRLAX is a volunteer-run program so we need the help of everyone to keep the program going.
  • Are games indoors or outdoors?
    • All games are played outside, rain or shine. Most games are on grass fields, but some locations are on turf. Families should plan for all weather conditions and bring chairs.
  • How do we clean the equipment we borrowed?
    • Play It Again Sports has an ozone machine to clean equipment. You must provide a receipt to certify equipment is cleaned to get your deposit back.
